Bar & Restaurant
The hotel boasts a spacious, traditionally decorated bar lounge where residents can relax with a drink before or after their evening meal. Our resident pianists play in the bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Also, come and meet Laurel and Hardy.....well perhaps not in the flesh, but full lifesize replicas, and plenty of little bits of memorabilia which have added to our collection over the years.
Full English breakfasts and evening meals are served in the traditionally furnished and spacious dining room. Special diets can be catered for, with prior arrangement. City of York Council have awarded us with a 5 star rating for food hygiene standards, for which a certificate is proudly displayed in a prominent place.

The hotel is now completely non-smoking inside - designated smoking areas can be found to the front and rear of the building.
